Sharing Experiences, Improving Education

StudentLines is a new initiative by the University of Groningen and the Hanze University of Applied Sciences. It is a Centre for Educational Data and Research focused on improving educational experiences, career preparation, individual student support, and the quality of education.

To achieve this, we need input and feedback from you as a student. We will conduct various pilots, and your experiences will help ensure a better education.

StudentLines aims to create a platform where different educational institutions can share experiences and data. Together, we can improve educational quality, research, administrative decision-making, and the student experience.

By working together within StudentLines, the University of Groningen and Hanze University of Applied Sciences can analyse a much broader range of data and experiences. This provides broad insights and a solid foundation for scientists and policymakers to make a real difference for students.

Research plans

StudentLines supports the development of pilots and research plans in the areas of educational quality, learning processes, and talent development.

Data collection

Step by step, we are improving the existing tools for data collection together. With your feedback, we make the questionnaires better, more enjoyable, and easier. This allows us to gather your input effectively, thereby genuinely improving educational research and policy.

Ethical oversight

We ensure that we legally and ethically safeguard the research and pilots, while also respecting the privacy and rights of all involved.
